Now it took me a while of pulling on the heater core box and eventually breaking it to discover that there is a nut in the firewall holding it in place. Done make the same mistake I did. It not hard to pull out after this nut is removed. Done make the same mistake I did. It not hard to pull out after this nut is removed. If the box is being stubborn look arround cause something is still holding it in.
