Now close the hood slowly and make sure the pins on the locks are lined up with the slots in the shafts. close the hood and test the locks. Adjust the shafts/bumpstops as needed to make the hood flush with the fenders. They should be pretty close already. - Now close the hood slowly and make sure the pins on the locks are lined up with the slots in the shafts. close the hood and test the locks. As long as everything lines up all thats left is tightening down the retaining nuts on both locks and youre finished. If you follow these steps and use the same tools that I did you should be done with both sides within an hour. It took me a total of probably about 3 hours but I had to figure everything out myself.
