Using a dremmel and a cutoff wheel I cut out the hole. It just so happens that using this method I dont have to cut any of the underlaying skeleton on the carbon fiber hood. I was pretty happy about that because it doesnt weaken the hood skeleton any more - Using a dremmel and a cutoff wheel I cut out the hole. I was pretty happy about that because it doesnt weaken the hood skeleton any more than needed. I fit the latch and marked the fastener holes.
