Now under the dash we have some work to do. Here you can see the heater hoses where they connect to the heater core. These things are a pain in the ass to remove and usually have to be cut free. These things are a pain in the ass to remove and usually have to be cut free. The one on the right is easily replaceable with a piece of hose from the auto store. The left one between the valve and the core is pretty tightly bent 2 times. You should try to find a replacement as they only run about $10. You should drain the coolant from the car before removing these hoses. Also unclip the cable and remove it from the post on the valve.
