Find a way to secure the stop and drill through the middle with a small bit, and increase bit size to bore out the center of the bump stop.

Now on the hood locate where the bumpstop rests. It has probably already made a nice circle for you.

It will be easier to drill if you make a divot first with a punch tool.

Next we will be using a 1 and 1/4 inch metal hole saw. Make sure the pilot bit is adjusted so that it doesnt go all the way through the hood.

Now a uni bit is expensive but will make the rest of the job really easy. This puppy cost me nearly $40. If you decide to get one make sure you get one that goes up to 3/4 inch. That is the size hole we will be drilling.
