Here are the driver and passenger side harnesses and regulators. You also need a floor harness from a 96-98 EX, a power window relay (honda part#622878), and three 20amp fuses. Tools needed are a flathead screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver, 10, 12, and 14mm sockets, a medium length extension, wratchet, pliers, (soldergun/solder),
PATIENCE.

power window relay

I try using the part number for the power window relay and Honda dealer said it wasn't the correct number. They said they only have a black 4 prongs relay. Do you have an actual picture of the relay and the honda part number for it. thank you

EK man. what floor harness are you using or did you just wire the doors directly to power? do you have pictures of the "extra wire" that I could take a look at? also which exact fuse under the hood are you blowing?

99 Si doors with 99 Si floor harness into 97 Cx hatchback

| show fullshow summary

I have a set of 99 Si doors and a 99 Si floor harness. Will these work on my 97 Cx? I have the feeling from reading a few of the comments on here that although it may work for the doors... some of the other plugs in the car may not fit?

If you look at the very last picture in the album it will show you how to hook it up without a floor harness.

i have jdm regulators and i dont think they can fit..

Posted by Guest on Fri 30 Sep 2005 04:07:58 PM MDT

Erik M. (erik)

youll need to find a plug you can use to connect the regulator and harness or youll need to solder wires directly.

It also has the mirror switch connector on it.

Posted by Guest on Thu 01 Sep 2005 01:59:59 PM MDT

Erik M. (erik)

The floor harness is just to make it easier to connect the doors to the inside of the car and to get everything hooked to the fusebox.

Iven never swapped doors but its probably less work that switching all the internals. If the paint is a match that would be my advice.

Posted by Guest on Fri 22 Jul 2005 10:46:29 PM MDT

hi..again.

Posted by Guest on Fri 22 Jul 2005 10:45:52 PM MDT

Erik M. (erik)

you can get them from scrap yards, ebay, and honda forums. $$ depends. and if you buy the same year its plug and play.

Posted by Guest on Fri 01 Jul 2005 09:59:42 AM MDT

JImmY

Plus I have a 99 cx hatch...will the wiring be the same? Is this a plug and play job?

Posted by Guest on Fri 01 Jul 2005 03:10:52 AM MDT

JImmY

Where can you find these floor harnesses and how much are you expecting to pay for them?

Posted by Guest on Fri 01 Jul 2005 03:09:54 AM MDT

Erik M. (erik)

Yes you will still need the floor harness but you wont need to convert any wiring. Make sure you get a lock box from a 99-00 also. on a 99-00 the box will mount behind the drivers kick panel.

Yes i have a 1999 dx, and would like to install doors from a 2000 SI(U.S)doors, but looks like a huge job. I would need to change the floor harness right?

Posted by Guest on Wed 16 Mar 2005 10:51:23 PM MST

Erik M. (erik)

do you have a 99-00 DX? if not then you will need the floor harness from a 99-00 EX, HX, or SI. and you will need to convert the front and rear main connectors.

I have a 99dx coupe and want to install SIR doors on my car, will i need to get a floor harness?

Posted by Guest on Tue 15 Mar 2005 09:11:17 AM MST

Jon leung

Hi, im buying full sir doors that will fit my dx perfectly, what else would i need, on the door i can see the plug where to fit the harness.

Posted by Guest on Tue 15 Mar 2005 08:25:52 AM MST

Its the FLOOR harness that you need. ABS doenst matter. just get a 98 EX floor harness and it will plug right in. only modifications you will need to make is if you want your rear wiper to work on a hatch.
