Here are the driver and passenger side harnesses and regulators. You also need a floor harness from a 96-98 EX, a power window relay (honda part#622878), and three 20amp fuses. Tools needed are a flathead screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver, 10, 12, an

The first thing you need to do with used parts is check out the harnesses for damage. Here on the passenger side 2 wires were cut. These need to be re-soldered.

Thats more like it. Slap some electrical tape on there ande be done.

The picture is kinda blurry here but the green/black, and blue/yellow wires have a gash in them and copper wires are exposed. Just put tape on these.

The passesnger harness also had this wire that was exposed. Taped it up as well.

Now as anyone knows the first step to an installation is to remove the negative battery cable.

Now starting on the doors we will start by removing all of the goldish screws in this picture. Set them and the speaker aside.

Unclip the speaker connector.

Next we need to remove this screw and the handle surround and set them aside.

And then this screw and the pocket.

SANY0611.jpg

Then we need to remove the manual window handle. Just push back the door and use some needle nose pliers to remove the clip.

Here you can see how its arranged when its on the door.

Now starting in the bottom left of the picture pull the interior panel away from the door. There are several clips holding it in place so just start going arround the edges and it will eventually release. Then just lift it up and out.

Now its gone. I eventually rip away all of that ugly plastic as it gets in the way of the entire installation. A new one should be made later from plastic. I use painters floor plastic.

If this is the first time your door panels have been removed several of the clips will remain in the door. Just put a flat head screwdriver as seen here and push/pop it out. Dont pry as you will ruin the clip. Pop it sideways and it comes out easy.

These bolts need to be removed. Again I advise just ripping the plastic completely off the door. I cut it in the following pictures as I though it might be salvageable..... I was wrong.

These 4 bolts must also be removed. Again plastic.

Now put the manual window handle back on the post and adjust the window height so that you can loosen this bolt.

Then losen this bolt.

The window can be removed now. Just lift it out of the door.

Now you can pull out the old manual regulator.

SANY0622.jpg

Now you need to push that orange clip out of the door.

SANY0623.jpg

Now we can disconnect the DX speaker wire and do whatever you want to with it.

And here is our power window regulator.

As you can see here, the power window regulator used the other 4 bolt holes. So if youre trying to mount it to one of the holes that you can see a bolt was in before youre doing it wrong.

PARTS

Alright, I have been reading about the conversion everywhere. Could you possible list the small thing and the location I could find them at like the mirror and lock modules? THanks. Is under 200 a deal for everything except the mirrors and the panels?

I looked and the harness to the '98 has 17 wires and the '00 has 16. Is there a way to mod it or do I need a whole door harness from a 2000? Any suggestions? Please help. thanks
