First install the power steering bracket to the block.

The grounding strap will be replaced so remove the origional and toss it or whatever you want.

Here is the power steering gearbox. One of these ball joints is bad so Im just going to swap the entire tie rod end from the 96 unit. Just some info. The P/S gearbox is 3 lbs heavier than a manual gearbox incase anyone was wondering.

In order to remove the lower arms you will need to remove 3 of the subframe bolts on each side. Dont worry the remaining 1 bolt on each side is more tha sufficient to hold up everything.

Here you can see the only difference betwenn the stock arms (right) and the EX arms (left) is the place to connect the swaybar.

Next in order to remove the manual steering gearbox you need to remove this entire metal bracket. as well as a seperate bracket on the opposite end.

Here you can see the large shield/bracket the long bolts by the way are the ones that connect the gearbox to the subframe.

Now you need to disconnect the exhaust and the shift linkage in order to drop the gearbox.

Now get under your dash and remove the plastic shielding arround the steering column. It has 2 retaining spring clamps and a plastic press connector that holds it to the firewall.

Here Im removing the tie rods in order to switch them over. After getting the retaining bolt removed wrap teflon tape arround the shaft in order to mark the point that the tie rod stopped at.

Ok at this point Im already manovering the power steering gearbox into the car. You can see here what I mean about having the drivers side compressed. Also as a note there is a hose nipple that needs to be removed in order to get it in.
